2017 Reading Challenges

This year I am taking part in the following 2017 Reading Challenges (and hopefullyactually remembering to log and link reviews to said challenges) Once a review is posted, the link will be updated here.

The British Books Challenge

BBC pointed shaded

This Challenge is hosted by Michelle  (Tales of Yesterday) this year. I would like to read, review and remember to link up the following British YA books and not fail at this target as I have for the last three years.

I’m not entirely sure what books I’ll read and review yet but I have some ideas of a wishlist of sorts based on books already on my shelf or that I’m keenly awaiting. If I already have the book they will be marked with a *)

  1. The One Memory of Flora Banks – Emily Barr *
  2. A Quiet Kind of Thunder – Sara Bernard
  3. The Fallen Children- David Owen
  4. Margot & Me – Juno Dawson
  5. All About Mia – Lisa Williamson
  6. If Birds Fly Back – Carlie Sorosiak
  7. The Yellow Room – Jess Valance
  8. The Sin Eater’s Daughter – Melinda Salisbury *
  9. The Last Beginning – Lauren James*
  10. Chasing the Stars – Malorie Blackman*
  11. False Hearts -Laura Lam*
  12. How Not To Disappear – Claire Furniss*

  1. Hi Lucy, thanks so much for siging up for the BBC this year! You have some fab books on your list and I’m looking forward to reading your reviews 🙂 I hope you have fun taking part

  2. Thank you for joining the 2015 Classics Challenge, Lucy! I think it’s a great idea to mix it up with modern classics. I read In Cold Blood for one of mine and I’m looking forward to your post about it! I expect you’ll be looking it up on Wikipedia afterwards, like I did!

  3. I look forward to the Echo Boy review. My boyfriend got Matt Haig’s ‘The Humans’ for Christmas this year and I’m looking forward to reading when he’s done.
