2018 Reading Challenges
Every year I sign up for reading challenges but struggle to remember to keep posts updated, etc. In 2017 my reading time was reduced and I struggled with blog motivation so this year I want to use challenges more as a tool to help me keep some blogging and reading mojo.
The PopSugar 2018 Reading Challenge
I’ve never tried this challenge before or this sort of challenge but the reading prompts seem interesting and I think this could be good fun. I saw it on a lot my twitter friends’ challenge posts and thought it would be great to join in.

British Book Challenge 2018 (As Always)
This is hosted by the lovely Michelle at Tales of Yesterday again.
Books I’m currently considering reviewing and I already have are as follows:
- The Exact Opposite of Okay – Laura Steven
- I Am Thunder – Mohammed Khan
- Final 7 – Kerry Drewery
I plan to try and review 12 books for this challenge in total. Reviews will updated above.
Mount TBR
This is my first year trying this challenge hosted by My Readers Block though it sounds like just what I need to address my backlog of books.
I’m aiming for Mount Vancouver (36 books) as I have a growing, worryingly large TBR list! I’ll update below with the books I read, plan to read and any reviews will be linked, though I am not planning to review every book necessarily!
Wow, I’d never realised there were so many YA authors called C J!
Hi Lucy, thanks so much for siging up for the BBC this year! You have some fab books on your list and I’m looking forward to reading your reviews 🙂 I hope you have fun taking part

Thank you for joining the 2015 Classics Challenge, Lucy! I think it’s a great idea to mix it up with modern classics. I read In Cold Blood for one of mine and I’m looking forward to your post about it! I expect you’ll be looking it up on Wikipedia afterwards, like I did!
I look forward to the Echo Boy review. My boyfriend got Matt Haig’s ‘The Humans’ for Christmas this year and I’m looking forward to reading when he’s done.
Thanks so much for signing up for 2017! I can’t wait x
Thanks for hosting it this year 🙂 I’m hoping to have more success remembering to link up my reviews!
