Review Policy
I am very happy to receive pitches and review requests from authors through the contact channels posted above. Please, however, do not send me the file straight away via email as I will not open files unless I expect them for obvious security reasons. As a note, I reserve the right not to review a book, particularly if I didn’t get on with it or finish it. It is currently my personal policy to not review books I have not finished.
My reviews are always honest and often relate to my personal experience reading the novel and my subjective opinions. I aim to combine this experience with more traditional critical thoughts in my reviews too as I did English at uni and just can’t get out of that mindset.
If I do respond to your pitch within 7 days, please take it that at this time I do not have the time to review your book or don’t think it’s a suitable match for me.
Please do not send a review request for:
1. Fiction that is not young adult.
2. Non-fiction.
3. Religious YA.
I will consider giveaways, guest posts and interviews as well. If you have any questions or would like to request a review do not hesitate to contact me.

Two brief questions: 1) Do you ever review MG novels? and 2) do you accept eBook ARCs in advance of a print release of a book? Thanks, Alex
Hi Alex,
Thanks for your questions and visiting the blog.
At this point in time I don’t review MG novels sadly, but I do accept ebook arcs. I prefer physical copies generally, but as I use netgalley and have an ereader I can review eARCS.
Hope that helps,
Lucy
